I am configuring confirmation paramters in 46c for the first time and I am having a small problem with defaulting in the correct quantites and times.
If I use the old CO11 transaction, when I put in an order number and operation on the selection screen, it automatically brings up the Yield to confirm and the activity and if a confirmation has already been done on the order it brings up the balance of the yield and the balance of the activities to confirm.
When I use the new CO11N transaction I cannot get the system to do the same with the activites.
Can anyone shed any light ont this?
In the CO11N config transaction, OPK0, under area selection, choose an option that will display quantites and activities. There are several available. Next, under the "Default" tab, choose to propose quants and services immediately.
Also, if you want CO11N to prompt you with the open operations and quantities after you enter the prod ord as CO11 does, that is not an option any more. In checking OSS, I saw that the option is gone and SAP does not have a patch to put it back.
We have chosen to continue with CO11 as did the company I worked at previously.
I suspected something like that, seems like this is another 'beta'
transaction... I think we will also stick to the old one.
Can anybody tell me the principle of transcation code MF60?
MF60 means material staging or reservation of raw materials needed for
production. When the production order or planned orders are generated the
planner has the option to reserve materials for his planned orders. This
will give the warehouse advance notice of what materials are required for
the next production plan.
It is a pullist with component require for a planned order after MRP
execute out. The list contain, which storage location that the material
would need to supply to, it also indicate the production version if you
use repetitive manufacturing. By indicate the planned order number that
you can get it from stock requirement list MD04 in the transaction MF60,
the system automatically
list out what are the component required for a order. You can then
perform staging and replenishment for the order.
